They have passed an international certification exam and maintain continuing education requirements. An IBCLC is the highest credentialed professional in the lactation field. Consultations include:

• Comprehensive history of mother and baby
• Infant oral assessment to identify any possible challenges
• Pre and post feeding infant weights with highly accurate scale
• Observation, guidance and suggestions to improve latching and positioning techniques
• Education regarding normal newborn cues and behavior
• Provide a detailed written care plan with follow up instructions
• Provide documentation needed to submit to your insurance for reimbursement (if needed)
• Visit summary provided to primary care provider(s), as needed
• Follow up phone/text support for two weeks

Private Consultation Fees:

Initial Visit  (60-90min):  $200.00
Follow up  (60min):   $175.00

An additional $50 will be added to above prices for twins.
